Iran’s President hosts Uzbekistan’s delegation

On 12 May 2025, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, hosted the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, who was on an official visit to Tehran.
At the start of the meeting, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and conveyed the best greetings and wishes from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
The two sides noted with satisfaction that thanks to the strong political will of the leaders of both countries, bilateral cooperation has been elevated to the level of comprehensive partnership. It was emphasized that the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level is crucial for ensuring regional stability.
Special attention was given to the implementation of agreements in key areas of bilateral relations, including trade, economics, investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, interregional interaction, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
During their visit to Tehran, the Uzbek delegation also visited Iran’s House of Innovation and Technology, where they familiarized themselves with advanced developments and products in the fields of energy, medicine, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, information technology, and construction.
