Mazandaran province of Iran explores new cooperation opportunities with Uzbekistan

During a visit by Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriyev to Iran’s Mazandaran Province, a meeting was held with the governor of the region Mehdi Younesi Rostami.
The discussion focused on advancing interregional cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, including trade, economy, investment, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian ties.
The governor highlighted that, in recent years, the political will of the leaders of Iran and Uzbekistan has elevated bilateral cooperation to a new level. He emphasized the potential for further expanding collaboration in areas such as trade, industry, investment, agriculture, and tourism.
Both sides exchanged views on a roadmap for deepening relations in these domains. They agreed to facilitate mutual visits by business representatives to each other’s regions and to organize joint trade exhibitions.
