Iranian logistics center ready to cooperate with Uzbekistan

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriev visited the "Romak Co." agricultural logistics center and export terminal in Iran
During the visit, the Ambassador familiarized himself with the center’s operations and held discussions with its director, Riza Ghanji.
Spanning an area of 31 hectares, the facility is designed for citrus storage and equipped with modern technological systems. Its primary partners include Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Central Asian countries. Annually, the center handles 4 million tons of citrus fruits.
During the negotiations, the Uzbek side presented information on Uzbekistan’s export potential. Prospects for investment cooperation were discussed, including the possibility of establishing a similar facility in Uzbekistan.
The Iranian side expressed its readiness to collaborate with Uzbekistan in areas such as citrus cultivation, storage, packaging, and preparation for export.
